RÉINVENTER PARIS ORDENER – INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION
Paris, FR. 2015
2nd PRIZE

The project is located on the Ordener Street, in the 18th arrondissement, in Paris, and it’s a study made for the Reinventer Paris International Competition of the Paris City Hall in 2015. The competition called on architects from around the world to come up with innovative ideas for specific lots in the city. .
We did the landscaping project, together with an interdisciplinary team divided between São Paulo and Paris, of a mixed program, including housing, public facilties, commerce and agricultural production.
The landscape concept is divided in four axes: spontaneous vegetation in the corridors, as a metaphor for cultural exchange and harmony with nature; fruit trees surrounded by benches as a meeting and contemplation place; the green roof that combines urban agroecology with continuous aesthetics with other floors; and the collective terraces treated in the same language as the roof but with more attention to the community and social character.
